Talisadi churna is used to treat colds and disorders of the digestive system. This medicine is almost similar in composition and action to Sitopaladi churna. However, Talisadi churna has several additional ingredients - fir extract, black pepper and pippali, which make it stronger than Sitopaladi. Also Talisadi chuna has a wider range of effects on the body.
This medicine is indicated for any diseases of the respiratory system - cold, acute respiratory infections, cough, bronchitis, asthma, etc. Additionally, Talisadi churna is indicated for weak digestion, diarrhea, etc.
This medicine calms Vata and Kapha dosha.
Indications:
cough, cold, SARS, asthma, bronchitis, vomiting, diarrhea, bloating, anemia, spleen diseases, heart tonic.
Content:
Talisa, Maricha, Shunti, Pippali, Vamshalochana, Ela, Twak, Sharkara.
Dosage:
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon 1-twice a day or as directed by a doctor.
Side effects: Overdose can cause burning sensation and heartburn. Also, people suffering from gastritis, is better to take Talisadi churna after food.
